Unfortunately, we have been informed that it is no longer possible to listen to BBC stations everywhere. This is because there has been a geoblock on certain radio stations. Fortunately, we have found a solution to this! By modifying the URL, you can enjoy the stations that are blocked again!

There are 3 ways, the first is through the browsers IP address, for our customers who have an android phone it can be done with the AirMusic app and the last way is to adjust it through the MediaU page.

This is the roadmap to change the radio station via the browse:

1.    You first press the stanby button.

2.    Then you go to settings

3.    Then you go to Device

4.    Then go to system info

5.    Then go to Wireless Info. (There are some models where you don't need to look for the IP address in the settings. If you have Information centre in the main menu you need to go to Information centre, then to system info, then to Wireless Info and then you can find the IP address)

6.    Then you will see the details of the radio. The MAC address is the address of the radio itself and a little further down you will see the ip address

7.    Then open your browser and key in the IP address (just the numbers with the dots) CAUTION! You have to make sure you are connected to the same network.

8.    From there, you can add radio stations.

9.    Then you need to find the URL of the BBC station you want to add.

10.    Before saving it, you do need to change it, in the link it says high or med somewhere, you need to change that to vlow. The link also contains a .uk. You must change this to .Nonuk.

11.    Then you can save it in favourites, for example, and you can listen to the BBC station again.

Unfortunately, this option is not always possible due to blocking. Should it not work, you can take the steps below to add the radio station.

This is the roadmap of to change the radio station with the AirMusic app:

1.    First of all, you need to pair with the radio.

2.    Once you have done that you can add a station.

3.    Then you need to find the URL of the BBC station you want to add.

4.    Before you save it, you do need to change it, in the link it says high or med somewhere, you need to change that to low. The link also contains a .uk. You should change this to .Nuk.

5.    Then you can save it in favourites, for example, and you can listen to the BBC channel again.

Unfortunately, this app has not been available in the playstore since Feb 2023. However, it can be downloaded with an APK (for Android users)

Then there is another way to add a station via the MediaU browser.

1.    You must, of course, have your radio linked to your account.

2.    Then go to Devices

3.    Then go to Add favourites

4.    Then you can manually add the radio station.

5.    Then you need to find the URL of the BBC channel you want to add.

6.    Before saving it, you do need to change it, in the link it says high or med somewhere, you need to change that to low. The link also contains a .uk. You must change this to .Nuk.

7.    Then you can save it in favourites, for example, and you can listen to the BBC station again.
