The portable DVD player operates on a voltage between 9 and 12 volts. Normally the voltage in a car is 12 Volts. However, different car brands currently also produce cars that supply a voltage higher than (15 Volts).

To prevent damage to your DVD player, it is equipped with a surge protector.
This switches the device off at a voltage higher than 14.5 volts. The DVD player is then not defective but switches off so that the over voltage cannot permanently damage the device.

Is this the case for you and can you no longer make optimum use of your Lenco portable DVD player? Then contact Lenco Support. We will then supply you with a modified charging cord for the car, allowing you to enjoy carefree enjoyment again.
