After transporting or moving the record player, the mechanism may become disrupted, causing the switch-off to occur prematurely. That means that the arm then goes to the rest position before the disc is completely played
With the arm with the arm lift up, carefully guide it towards the center of the turntable while the turntable is rotating. Move the arm to the center until a mechanical resistance is encountered. The cut-off mechanism will then come into operation and bring the arm to rest position.
